Favorite Ingredients Friday - Super Bowl part 2

I've got my Super Bowl menu planned. I'll be making Barb's Sweet and Pungent Chicken Wings and her Party Potato Skins, my Spicy Beef Cheese Dip along with the following:

STUFFED MUSHROOMS

12 oz. mushrooms
medium onion, chopped
garlic powder
roll frozen crab meat stuffing

Remove stems from mushrooms, reserving 5 - 10. Break reserved stems into small pieces. Stir-fry stuffing, onion, stems in butter for 10 - 15 min. or until lightly browned. Add garlic powder to taste. Stuff mushrooms with mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-25 minutes.

I think at this point I need to wake up and say, "Oh, is the Superbowl this weekend?"

I made those party potato skins and they were fabulous. She links to another potato soup recipe, which I made a couple of days later. It's in the Fix it and Forget it Cookbook, so I already had it. It was some seriously fabulous potato soup and good for the leftovers from the potato skins. Hayden said he loved smelling bacon cooking every night.
